So with the past month flying bye I must admit that I have now hit the bored out of my mind phase of being jobless! It truly seems like the worst game of keep away EVER! I've been on countless interviews and nothing has taken shape BUT I can get used to this stay-at-home-dad lifestyle... Speaking of which if you are a stay at home parent then kudos to you that shit is no joke, especially in the summer when the kid(s) are home. Holy crap its a lot to keep a ball of energy entertained the whole day and I say its almost impossible. The constant whining of being bored while in the middle of an activity is like nails on a chalkboard. Like Jesus kid take a second and enjoy the moment because if you keep thinking about what's next you'll never be satisfied or happy.
Since I've been placed on the bench it seems like I have all the time in the world and then like I don't have a second to breathe. Its a mixture of a lot of things emotion wise dealing with the fact that I made good money and now I don't. Also, the sense of not doing something is what is killing me. I felt like I were doing something in the corporate world but I admit being home with the kid makes a whole lot more sense to me but like most middle income American families its impossible for us to be a one income home. Bills don't care about your kids they want their money and they want it now.
As far a gaining employment I think its going to come along this is just the beginning of another chapter in my book and believe me there's a lot more to this book. Once the dust settles on where we will be living (we've decided to move across the country) the opportunities will start to appear. Needless to say I hope everyone had an awesome summer and thank god the kids are heading back to school!
